When Narendra's father Chudamani could not do the work of his son-in-law and grandson, his uncle did it. Chudamani, who spent 5 days at the scene to search for the missing son and daughter-in-law in the landslide, said that after finding his son's hand writing his daughter-in-law Saraswati's name in the landslide, he lost hope that he would be found alive. We searched the place for 5 days. After not seeing any hope of finding him alive, he returned home and made Kush's body and performed the last rites, he said.

Amrita's brother-in-law Ashok, who was injured in the same incident, has an injury on his back . Pariyar's daughter Lakshmi, who was injured in the incident, is undergoing treatment at Sushila Tiwari Hospital, Haldwani.
