Former Finance Minister and Congress spokesperson Prakasharan Mahat has reacted to the fact that the budget presented by the government for the next financial year is silent on the removal of unnecessary government structures.
Responding to the presentation of the budget by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel in the Joint House of the Federal Parliament on Thursday, Mahat said that the budget has not yet been solidified.
'Budget is silent on speeding up government structures and removing unnecessary structures . I also talked about branding the local product. Its procedure was also advanced. This time's budget is also silent on that,' said Mahat, 'after receiving the allocation bill in Samrag, it will come to know how much the result is. It could have been presented more concretely.'
Mahat also said that Bajeth is heading in the right direction. He said that since the budget is being allocated like Kanika's scattered in more than 4 thousand projects, it has been removed this time. He said that the budget discipline has been established that the budget will not be allocated for projects below three crore rupees. He said that the impact of capital expenditure is expected to increase with the budget.
Similarly, Mahat said that production-based subsidy in agriculture is not specifically mentioned. He says that some tax ranges are unnecessary.
