Maoist Member of Parliament Rekha Sharma has said that the country has been dishonored by the government's failure to appoint the governor of Rashtra Bank.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, MP Sharma said that the reason why the two-thirds strong government could not appoint the governor was because the party interests of the parties affiliated to the government did not meet.

'The thing that is coming out that the governor has not been appointed due to non-alignment of party interests of the parties affiliated to the government or for various other reasons is dishonoring the nation. Therefore, I request the government not to dishonor the nation and to appoint a competent and qualified person as the governor,' said MP Sharma.
