The deadly attack on Annapurna Post Daily and Kantipur Television offices on Friday.

The Nepal Media Society strongly condemns and requests the government to take immediate legal action against the criminals.

The society says that the violence and looting of media houses, private buildings, public supermarkets, offices of political parties and government institutes has exposed the character of the protestors and their leaders. The society said that the attack on the media to disrupt the flow of information and to abuse the right to peacefully express their grievances, demands and anger through demonstrations, gatherings or assemblies cannot be justified on any basis.
