Under the leadership of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, within 100 days of the formation of the government, efforts to improve the health sector have been initiated. Those who are waiting for their turn in Veer will not have much problem getting surgery in other government hospitals. However, discussions are underway to make it private," he said, "even so, there is a condition that private hospitals should treat 10 percent of the total beds free of charge. Discussions have been carried forward with all parties on how to implement it.'

Similarly, after assuming the charge of the Health Minister, Paudel has played a role in eliminating the situation where medicines are not available in the pharmacy within the hospital under the health insurance. The government hospital has also submitted a report to the ministry, claiming that more than 90 percent of the drugs are available in the pharmacy within the federal hospital.

On the initiative of Minister Paudel, the plan to expand cancer treatment services in all seven provinces has also been implemented. According to the ministry, BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital Bharatpur has signed an agreement to extend its services to Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences in Gandaki Province, Surkhet Provincial Hospital in Karnali Province and Seti Provincial Hospital in Sudurpaschim Province and Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital to extend services from Koshi Hospital in Koshi Province and Narayani Hospital in Madhesh Province.
