The bodies of 5 people have been removed from the passenger bus that left Lapu in Gorkha, which was buried by a landslide in the Jhaple River under the Prithvi Highway.
Bus No. 4 B 2270, which had been out of contact since Friday night, was found buried in Jhaplekhola on Sunday. Gorkha Daroudi Transport Service Pvt Ltd Anjan Khatri informed that 5 people were found dead in the bus buried in the landslide. He also said that there are three crew members and two passengers. He said that the dead bodies of driver Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-4, Madan Pariyar of Tura, Vinay Bhattarai and Navraj Tiwari of Fuzel and Suk Bahadur Gurung of Dharche Rural Municipality-7 were found.
The identity of another passenger has not been revealed. The bus that left from Dharche Rural Municipality-7 Lapuweshi became uncontactable from Friday night.
