Federal MPs of Nepali Congress are going to provide 15 days salary for relief management at the time of calamity.

The meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party held on Sunday has decided to provide the amount through the Government of Nepal expressing grief over the unimaginable loss of human wealth due to floods and landslides caused by the Ariwal rains on October 11th and 12th. The

meeting expressed its condolences to the bereaved family while expressing their condolences for the loss of life in the disaster. Also, wishes for speedy recovery of those injured in the natural calamity have also been expressed.

The meeting chaired by Congress Chairman and Parliamentary Party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba at his residence in Budhanilkanth has requested the government to rebuild the damaged roads, bridges, school buildings, health posts, police posts and other essential infrastructure as soon as possible.

Similarly, Chief Whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire informed that the meeting has requested the government to make arrangements for the proper rehabilitation of those who became homeless due to the flood and landslide as soon as possible. He also said that all the members of the Federal Parliament have been called upon to help in disaster management from their respective positions.
