The district traffic police office Kavre has informed that Arnico and BP highways have been blocked due to floods and landslides caused by incessant rains.
Bikas Tamang, Chief Police Inspector of District Traffic Police Office, Kavre, informed that the traffic operation on the highway has been disrupted due to the flooding of the Pulbazar area in Banepa under Arin's highway.
According to him, due to the landslides that occurred at different places of the Dhulikhel-Khawa road section under Arani highway, the traffic operation in that area has also been disrupted. Similarly, he said that the traffic operation on the BP highway in the district has been blocked since Friday. According to him, various parts of the highway have been blocked due to floods and landslides. He informed that necessary coordination is being done with the police, local authorities and road department to open the road.
