Samir Pariyar, 24, of Sunwal-5 in Paschim Nawalparasi, always walks with a pad. A pad never breaks with her when she is at home, outing with friends or attending an event. Even as a birthday gift, they give pads and materials needed to make pads for girl friends.
Sameer has been active for 5 years in the campaign to promote healthy menstruation and make the house menstrual-friendly. Wherever she goes, she does not hesitate to talk about menstruation. Sameer says that he was inspired to start this campaign after seeing the problems of his teenage friends in his school. While studying at the school level, girl friends used to be absent for three to four days a month. While searching for the cause, he found out that menstruation was the main cause. She started getting her friends to participate in the decent menstruation campaign to fight against the fact that pads are not readily available in schools and that one should not go to school when menstruating. Now many young people have joined his campaign.

It is also necessary to make it decent," says Sameer, "We should create an environment where you can confidently talk about menstruation with your close relatives and friends. We are going on this campaign.'' He says that the use of pads is not only helpful for women during menstruation, but also helps to stop bleeding from wounds in case of an accident.
This campaign was started in the year 2077 during the time of Covid under the name of 'Gift for Girl'. In which they were given training on how to gift pads for their girlfriends and how to safely make pads at home. Now this campaign is known as 'Limited Menstruation, We Are Everyone's Responsibility'.
Those involved in this campaign educate parents about menstruation. During this time, people spread awareness that they should rest more than other times, eat nutritious food and encourage them. The youth are active in spreading awareness in rural settlements against stigmas such as celebrating the first menstruation as a festival, hiding in other people's houses, not being able to see the sun and men. To encourage this campaign of the youth, Sunwal Municipality has included a program in its budget for discussion and awareness about decent menstruation.
