Ashok Rai-led Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) will support the agreement reached between Nepali Congress and Nepal Communist Party (UML) for the new power equation.

The party's general secretary Mohammad Istiaq Rai said that the party has decided to move forward in a new way according to the changed political developments. However, he said, the party's official meeting will decide to withdraw the support.

However, Health and Population Minister Pradeep Yadav, representing the party in the government, informed that the official opinion of the party has not been formed about withdrawing the support given to the government. He said that the

party will hold a meeting and decide how to proceed in the developed political situation. Minister Yadav said, 'The party has not withdrawn its support to the government, the necessary decision will be taken after a meeting.'

Earlier this morning, the general secretary of the party, Rai, in a conversation with Rasus, said that the ministers participating on behalf of the party in the current government will be instructed to resign today.

He said that Jaspa will support the agreement reached between the two major parties in the House of Representatives. In response to the same query, General Secretary Rai recently said that the party has decided to withdraw the support given to the government and the officials will hold a meeting till evening to take a decision.
