Alcohol is produced in almost every home of the Newar community. It is customary to welcome guests with wine and eggs. However, branding of such Raithane liquor has not been done. Kanak Shakya of Lalitpur Patan has collected the bottles of wasted wine and branded homemade liquor.

Suhag Joshi of Patan Swath tol has exhibited home-made shoes from wasted jeans and cotton clothes. There are simple ones that can be worn for everyday, from weddings and parties.
She said that if anyone wants to produce such shoes at home, they can provide training. He is also participating in the ongoing tribal cultural festival in Patan Darbar area in conjunction with Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality-16.
55 stalls are kept here only for the exhibition and sale of domestic products. It mainly includes clothes. The festival will last for three days starting from Friday. Free entry to the Patan Museum has been arranged throughout the
festival period. The organizers of the festival are Nepal Handicrafts Federation, Nepal Language Manka Khal, Nepal Democratic Tribal Tribes Federation Lalitpur Province 2 (B) Committee, Ashtamatrika Nach Management Committee, Patan Tourism Development Organization, Nyeku Jatra Mataya Management Central Committee and others.
