Due to the rain-related disaster, 18 dead bodies have been found in Lalitpur so far. Deputy Superintendent of Police Narhari Adhikari of District Police Office said that 18 dead bodies found during the rescue were kept at Anandavan Hospital, Chapagaon and Patan Hospital in Lagkhel.
According to the public data released by the District Administration Office, Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Forces have been deployed for search and rescue.
4 people from Gotikhel and 2 from Manikhel in Mahankal rural municipality have gone missing. Four hundred and 16 people from areas including Sanepa, Nakhkhu Harmony Colony, Nakhipot, Bungmati, Chapagaon, UN Park and Imadol. Rescued and moved to a safe place.
