Prisoners who escaped from Rajviraj Jail in Saptari have started returning after the movement of Gen-G. They escaped by setting fire inside the prison last Wednesday afternoon.
Out of the 205 people who escaped, 68 inmates have been contacted so far, Gangalal Yogi, the head of Rajviraj Jail, informed.
"Fifty-seven prisoners have been arrested and brought by the security personnel, while 11 have come themselves," he said, "and 3 more prisoners are from Jhumka Jail in Sunsari." "If they are caught and brought, there may be more cases," he said.
The police said that the search for other escaped prisoners is underway.
