Mohammad Tahir Muslim of CPN-UML has won as the ward president of Suddhodhan Village-1.

He won by getting 1,150 votes. Chief Electoral Officer Prakash Chandra Adhikari said that his nearest rival, Dinesh Yadab of Congress, got 1,076 votes.

In the election held on Sunday, 3,379 people, 1,666 men and 1,713 women, voted. In the

election, there were 14 candidates including 10 party members and 4 independent candidates for the ward president. The by-election was held after the death of Tilakram Yadav, the winning ward president from the Congress.
