A curfew has been imposed in Sunsari's Itahari after Jen-G's protest got out of control. Chief District Officer Dharmendra Mishra informed that a curfew order has been issued in the area around the main square of Itahari from 3.30 pm today at the District Administration Office Sunsari until further notice.

According to Mishra, a curfew order has been issued from the Nepalese army barracks to Paruhang Chowk in the north, Milan Chowk to Jutbikas in the east, Abuse of Authority Investigation Office South, Transport Office, Sathi Petol Pump, Pushpa Lal Chowk and bus park area in the south.

Similarly, the administration has issued a curfew order in the Janata Basti area from Kalanki mode to the west. Chief District Officer Mishra informed that a curfew has been issued for an indefinite period so that no movement, gathering, procession, demonstration meeting, meeting and encirclement is allowed in the area.
