The bridge was swept away by the flood in the Trejung River of Paktanglung Rural Municipality-7, Olangchungola. According to Tasi Sherpa, a member of the ward, the flood has reached the river Tamor.

The Tamor river is not blocked because the flood did not uproot the trees . On Saturday morning, the locals reached there after the flood started making a loud noise. Ward employee Tenjing Sherpa has said that after the bridge is washed away, it will be a problem to get out of the settlement.

It has been raining since Friday in Taplejung. The rain has also affected the Saturday morning in the capital Fungling on Saturday morning. Farmers have not been able to bring agricultural produce from the village.
