Employees have reached all polling stations in Karnali Province to conduct the House of Representatives elections. Provincial Election Officer Lal Bahadur Gurung informed that the employees who left the Provincial Election Office on Monday with election materials have reached the polling stations. Gurung said that the polling officers, assistant polling officers, and other employees and security personnel have reached the relevant places with election materials.
Those deployed to conduct the election have taken 51 types of materials. The team of polling officers has checked all the materials and started working in the field after understanding them from Monday morning, informed Provincial Election Officer Gurung.
The employees deployed in the election have gone to the polling stations with 51 types of materials including ballot papers, ballot boxes, swastika stamps, stamp pads, paint, rope, stapler, lacquer, and sealing rope.
In the remote Himalayan areas of Karnali, voting materials and employees have reached the polling stations by helicopter. He said, "Voting materials and staff have been sent by helicopter to 8 polling stations in Humla, 20 polling stations in Dolpa and 3 polling stations in Mugu."
