A woman injured in a fire that broke out in Surkhet on Monday has died. The deceased has been identified as Tulsi Bhusal, who was visiting her sister from Tandi Ghar in Chitwan.
The 70-year-old woman died during treatment on Tuesday, District Police Spokesperson DSP Mohanjung Budthapa said.

Police said that initial information indicated that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit. It took hours to bring the fire under control.
