According to the municipality, more than 13 citizens of Kushe Rural Municipality-2 of Jajarkot are without contact.

It is suspected that they may have been buried in a landslide near Madhera Khatoula, which is about 1 km from village Bakuda in the state of Uttarakhand, India.

Village chairman Harichandra Basnet said that he got information on social media that 13 people from Ward No. 2 and some other wards are not in contact. He said that it is understood that they had gone to the place where the landslide had occurred.

The municipality has requested the state and union government to search.
