In Gorkha-1, Prem Kumar Khatri from the Nepali Congress, Hariraj Adhikari from the Nepali Communist Party, Sudhan Gurung from the National Independent Party (NISP), and Ramkaji Rana Magar from the Ujjaya Nepal Party have registered their candidacies.
Twenty-seven people have filed their candidacies in two constituencies of Gorkha for the upcoming House of Representatives elections. Thirteen people have registered their candidacies in Gorkha-1 and 14 in Gorkha-2.
In Gorkha-1, Prem Kumar Khatri from Nepali Congress, Hari Raj Adhikari from Nepali Communist Party, Sudhan Gurung from National Independent Party (RSWP), Ram Kaji Rana Magar from Ujjaya Nepal Party have registered their candidacies. Similarly, Ram Chandra Lamichhane from Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist), Bishnu Prasad Rijal from Nepal Communist Party (Maoist), Akash Rana Magar from National Republic Nepal, Manukumari Shrestha from Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Kedarmani Khanal from Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Gopal Babu Shrestha from Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party, Dev Bahadur Thapa from Mongol National Organization and Jit Bahadur Ghale from Sanyutta Nagarik Party have become candidates.
Similarly, 14 people have filed their candidacies in Gorkha Constituency No. 2. In Gorkha-2, Prakash Chandra Dawadi from the Nepali Congress, Baburam Bhattarai from the Progressive Democratic Party (PRLP), Kabindra Burlakoti from the National Independent Party (RSWP), Lekhnath Neupane from the Nepali Communist Party, Kalpana Kumal from the Aam Janata Party, Tek Bahadur Pradhan from the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), Som Bahadur Gurung from the Mongol National Organization, Ram Sharan Budhathoki from the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Balram Tamang from the Ujjaya Nepal Party, Milan Gurung from the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), and Prasad Gurung from the Nation Republic Nepal have filed their candidacies. Similarly, Chuda Prasad Dhakal and Hari Pokharel have filed their candidacies as independent candidates.
