The movie 'Karsang', which is going to be released in public from this Friday, had its premiere show in Kathmandu on Wednesday. In the premiere, which was attended by a large number of filmmakers, the art and culture of the Sherpa community raised by 'Karsang' was appreciated.
Film Development Board Chairman Dinesh DC, actors Deepashree Niraula, Kedar Ghimire, Kiran KC, Anup Baral, Ashok Sharma, Manish Raut to director Dipendra Kumar Khanal, Vasant Niraula, poet Biplav Prateek, singer Kamal Khatri, singer Melina Mainali and others were present at the premiere.
Yam Sherpa's debut direction and writing in 'Karsang' stars Dayahang Rai, Srijan Ninglekhu, Jitu Nepal, Diya Maske, Buddhi Tamang, Srishti Gautam, Doma Hyolmo, Prem Lopchan and Surveer Pandit. Big Movies in Kamalpokhari, where the
premiere show was organized, was decorated with flags like a monastery according to the Sherpa culture, and the actors of the film were also present in the costumes of the Sherpa community. Dayahang was absent.
