On Thursday, a historic program in the field of Nepali music took place in the hall of the Nepali Christian Congregation in Dnyaneshwar. A forty-minute long cantata song 'Maya Tyo Swargiya-1984' was presented with words and tunes by Loknath Manen, a leading composer in the field of Christian literature and music. Singer Raju Tamang was at the forefront of the cantata, which was sung simultaneously by more than 50 choirs.

The creator Loknath Manen, who became the center of the program, was felicitated by Senior Pastor Roland Rongang with Dosalla Odhai and Pastor Ashok Mukhia with letters of appreciation. On the same occasion, writers who have contributed to the field of Christian literature and music Rev Shalon Karthak and Dr. Chhatra Paul Subba and 11 other artists were honored by the chief guest, Bhupal Rai, Chancellor of Nepal Pragya Pratishthan.

Chief Guest Chancellor Rai recalled that Christian literature and music not only elevated the Nepali language and literature as a whole but also contributed to introducing modern style. He said,  Nepal Pragya-Pratishthan is a common institution of all religions, castes, languages, regions and communities. On top of that, we cannot forget the contribution made by the literature of the Christian region to elevate Nepali literature and music.'

Another guest poet Shravan Mukarung praised the contribution of Christian literature and music to Nepali society. Cantata is rarely heard in Nepali music. In addition, the moment when hundreds of artists sang live in this way has happened only once in the history of Nepali music',  Mukarung said.
