The film 'Bride from Meghauli', which is presented in a humorous style, presents the intense pressure given by the family and the society to get married from the family and the actions that lead to its response, has started nationwide screening from Thursday. The film focuses on the conflict between the father's struggle to find a suitable groom for his daughter and the daughter's efforts to find love.

Major multiplex chain QFX, INI Cinemas, One Cinemas along with Big Movies, Fcube Cinemas, etc., the film has done enthusiastic business on the first day. The film, jointly directed by Sajan Kafle and Akash Baral under the banner of Black Horse Pictures and Meghauli Films, had its grand premiere at the QFX Hall in Bhaktapur on Wednesday evening on the eve of the screening. In a separate premiere, actress Swastima Khadka drove a tractor on the red carpet as the main character of the film. 

"I got an opportunity to watch the movie Behuli from Meghauli, it is fun and informative," said actor Kedar Prasad Ghimire while praising the movie after the premiere. Similarly, screenwriter Sampada Malla also expressed her happiness that an entertaining female-led film has been made and commented that the highlights of 'Behuli From Meghauli' are Swastima. She is such a valuable artiste, who has the ability to perform any role beautifully. This film is completely hers,” said Malla. Also, from this film, Swastima has also ventured into film production.  In addition to Swastima and Nischal, the

film also stars Simran Khadka, Raksha Thapa, Vijay Baral, Lokendra Akhtar, Vasundhara Bhusal, Siru Bishta, Aamir Gautam, Tika Pahari and others. The film is directed by Narendra Mainali and edited by Nimesh Shrestha. The writing of the film is also done by the director. The film's songs 'Udayo Man' and 'Chadke Salaam' have been liked by the audience and another song 'Mayako Dosh' has also been released on Thursday. The commercial battle of the film, which is expected by the song and the trailer itself, is not easy. 

Due to the national disaster of floods and landslides, two Nepali films 'Sano Sansar' and 'Ankha', which were released last week, had a direct impact on the business. As the audience did not come to the hall, 'Sano Sansar' postponed the performance on the day of its release and moved to October 9. Although the previous film "Behuli from Meghauli" took the advantage of the opening day of the hall empty as the previous film "Joker 2" will also be screened from Friday, the show has been divided. QFX Cinemas has given 34 and 33 seats to 'Bride from Meghauli' and 'Joker 2' respectively for Friday in its seven multiplexes in the valley, while the ratio of other multiplexes is almost the same.
