The government has said that it will establish cooperative credit information, savings protection and debt recovery tribunals. President Ramchandra Paudel said this while presenting the government's policy and program for the next fiscal year at the joint meeting of the Parliament.
President Paudel also said that a fund will be established through the Cooperative Regulatory Authority to provide immediate relief to small savers of troubled cooperatives.
The government has said that the management information system related to cooperatives and poverty will be upgraded by maintaining the standards of the electronic information system to make cooperative data management effective.
Paudel said that access to state facilities will be increased for families identified as poor.
