The Confederation of Nepal Industries (CNI) has said that the budget for the next financial year cannot make the economy in a challenging situation sustainable. The confederation has issued a statement and asked for its effective implementation as the budget prioritizes structural reforms and business environment reforms for economic reforms.

The confederation had been putting forward the issue that it should go for the second phase of economic reform. The budget has announced that a new phase of economic reform program will be launched and for this a high-level economic reform recommendation commission will be formed. We have taken this as a good aspect," the statement said, "We also request that a commission be formed and this work be carried forward with high priority."  In the

budget, it is said to increase production, productivity and employment, increase the morale of the private sector, increase investment and speed up economic activities. The confederation has said that it is a good aspect of the confederation to designate agriculture, energy, information technology development, tourism, entrepreneurship and industrial development as transformative sectors in the budget. 

It has been said that the quality standards of imported goods and services will be determined and implemented and the process will be carried forward to make agreements with neighboring countries so that there is universal acceptance and uniformity in quality standards. This is welcome," said the statement, "However, this budget has not been able to address the issue of labeling the imported goods prior to customs as stated by the Confederation. The Confederation demands labeling of imported goods before they pass customs.' 

The Confederation is of the opinion that the legal arrangement will be made to allow the private sector to participate in the construction and distribution of electricity transmission lines. "The confederation believes that the government will make the necessary legal arrangements for this arrangement within the next fiscal year," the confederation said. Mentioning that the government will develop the province as a specialized economic center in collaboration with the private sector, it is mentioned that Koshi will be made into an industry, Madhesh will be made into an agricultural hub, Wagmati will be made into an information technology, Gandaki will be made into a tourism hub, Lumbini will be made into a small and medium enterprise, Karnali will be made into an herbal hub, and Sudurpaschim will be made into an economic hub. 

Similarly, in accordance with the concept of integrated development to create an industrial ecosystem in partnership with the private sector, Bharatpur-Butwal-Pokhara-(Mugling) Bharatpur in three angles, Gandaki Economic Triangle Project has been proposed.

Similarly, the area around the east-west highway from Nijgarh to Dhalkebar will be developed as a Nepali carpet corridor, the area around the Sharda river in Salyan-Rukum as an agricultural corridor, the area around the Hima river and Tila river in Jumla as a Marsi paddy corridor, and the area around the Kolbi to Simraungadh road in Bara will be developed as a fish corridor. is The Confederation said that this declaration, which is being tried to be carried forward in a new way, will not be limited to the declaration.
