Sunil KC had filed his candidacy from Kathmandu-2. He was elected as a Provincial Assembly member from the RPP in 2079. This time, he filed his candidacy from the National Independent Party (RSP). Similarly, Yubaraj Dulal has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Sindhupalchowk-2. Dulal had filed his candidacy from the NCP.
Maske had filed his candidacy from the UML in Kathmandu-6. Basanta Prasad Manandhar of the NCP and Prakash Shrestha of the UML filed their candidacy in Kathmandu-7. Despite resigning from the Provincial Assembly, Congress' Kundan Raj Kafle did not get a ticket.
