The Election Commission has made public the details of the number of voters and polling stations for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
According to the commission, there are a total of 18.93689 voters across the country. According to the details, Ramechhap, which has only one constituency for the House of Representatives, has become the constituency with the highest number of voters in the country.
There are a total of 187,952 voters in Ramechhap. Of these, 96,892 are male and 91,060 are female voters, said Narayan Lamichhane, Election Officer of the District Election Office, Ramechhap.
For the upcoming election of members of the House of Representatives to be held on Falgun 21, 96 polling stations and 228 polling stations have been determined in all 64 wards of 2 municipalities and 6 rural municipalities in the district. Election Officer Lamichhane said that two polling stations have been added with the increase in voters in this election.
The office has stated that the polling stations and centers have been determined so that voters can vote easily, safely and systematically. According to the voter data made public by the Election Commission, Arghakhanchi-1 is in second place and Dolakha-1 is in third place in the list of constituencies with the highest number of voters.
