The Kanti Lokpath, which was blocked by landslides for three days, has been fully operational since Monday evening. Kanti Lokpath has been re-opened after the huge landslide in Ghattepakha located in Bakaiya Rural Municipality-11 of Makwanpur.
According to the chief district officer of Makwanpur, Skim Shrestha, the travelers stranded on the road due to landslides have been sent to their destination. The road was opened after removing a big landslide after about four hours.
With the removal of the road block, around 400 vehicles are heading towards their destination. The police said that even though the road has been opened, there is still a risk of landslides in the area.
Chief District Officer Shrestha along with Chief District Officer Shrestha, heads of all four security agencies including Armed Police, Nepal Police, Nepal Army and Civil Service and Sajan Neupane of Kanti Lokpath Project were deployed in Ghattepakha all day.

Kanti Lokpath was closed since Saturday morning. After the operation of the Lokpath, all the four roads from Hetaunda to Kathmandu have been put into operation.
