Traffic has come to a standstill in Ramechhap district due to the incessant rain that started on Friday. Long and short distance vehicles have not been able to operate due to road blockage due to continuous rain.

Subas Phuyal, district in-charge of East Arnico Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. informed that after the rain stopped for some time on Sunday morning, even though vehicles came from some villages to the headquarters Manthali, the regular traffic could not be operated.

He said, 'It is raining continuously, although it stopped for a while this morning, it has started raining again. In such a situation, it is not possible to drive long distances, even short distances.' According to him, from Ramechhap to Sindhuli, Bardibas, Kakadvitta  And vehicles going to Kathmandu are completely closed. Even in the places near the headquarters, Manthali, the vehicle has not been able to operate.

According to Police Inspector Kaushal Neupane of District Police Office Ramechhap, more than 40 vehicles that were stopped on the Manthali-Charikot and Manthali-Khurkot road section were opened this morning when the rain stopped and sent to their destination.

Police Inspector Neupane said, 'Until now, there has been no untoward incident in Ramechhap, but due to the continuous rain, the vigilance and activity of the police has been increased.'
