"Communication and electricity services are also closed in most places including roads, so we have not reached all the places yet," she said. "Rescue and search efforts are continuing." 12 people have died due to landslides in different places of Temal Rural Municipality. According to Chandra Lama, President of the Municipality, 8 members of the same family have died in Chukha located in Ward-2.
12 people died in Panauti municipality, Panauti mayor Ramsharan Bhandari said. According to him, 1 foreign tourist is among the dead. He said that 17 people have gone missing from different places in the city. 8 people have died due to a landslide in Bethanchok Rural Municipality. According to Bhagwan Adhikari, chairman of the village, 4 people are missing. City Deputy Chief Vimala Sapkota Dahal said that 3 people died due to flash floods in Banepa.
7 people died in Mandandeupur municipality. 3 people died in Dhulikhel Municipality, 4 in Namobuddha Municipality, 1 each in Bhumlu and Khanikhola Rural Municipality. The municipality has informed that 3 people have died due to flood in Chaunrideurali rural municipality. People's representatives informed that there was no human loss in Panchkhal Municipality and Mahabharat Rural Municipality.
