After the government decided to close unregistered social media platforms in Nepal, Nepal Telecom, a government-owned telecommunication service provider, has launched a Viber community for customer service.

Telecom has informed that this step has been taken because social media based customer service has been affected due to the government's latest decision.

Publishing a notice on Friday, Telecom has requested customers to join the Viber community called 'Nepal Telecom Customer Care' at 9765011011 for their queries and complaints.

Viber has completed the registration process in Nepal, so it is not on the inactive list.
