66 polling stations in Kanchanpur are highly sensitive

Sixty-six polling stations in Kanchanpur are highly sensitive for the House of Representatives elections. Police have stated that half of the polling stations in the district, which has three constituencies, are highly sensitive.

"Polling stations near roads, rivers and forest areas are considered very sensitive," said SP Khadak Bahadur Khatri of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur. "Accordingly, the presence of security personnel is being increased, as well as mobile patrols."

There are a total of 132 polling stations in Kanchanpur. Of these, 26 are general and 40 are sensitive. Similarly, the total number of polling stations is 360. Of which 49 are general, 119 are sensitive and 192 are very sensitive. 

There are a total of 314,14,385 voters in all three constituencies of the district, including 154,068 men, 100,160,316 women and 1 other.
