Bhatta was elected from Doti Provincial Assembly Constituency ‘K’ from the Maoist Center in 2074 BS and served as the Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province for five years. He did not contest the 2079 BS election and is set to contest the House of Representatives election again this time.
UML has decided to field Deepak Dhami as its candidate from Doti Provincial Assembly Constituency. The UML Central Secretariat meeting held on Saturday decided to field Dhami as its candidate.
Dhami, a resident of Shikhar Municipality-10, is currently the central president of the ANNFSU, a close ally of UML. Dhami, who comes from a health education background, has been active in student politics for a long time.
Rastriya Janamorcha is set to field Manoj Bhatta as its candidate for the House of Representatives election. Bhatta, who is also the party’s general secretary, was recommended by Janamorcha Doti President Double Bogati.
