The Maoist Center has withdrawn its support to the Far West Province government. State MP Om Vikram Bhat said that the party meeting of the parliamentary party held in Dhangadhi on Wednesday decided to withdraw the support to the Congress-led government.

On Tuesday, Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah dismissed two ministers of the Maoist Center and one state minister. Along with that, the Maoist Center started the discussion of withdrawal of support. There are 11 MPs including the Speaker of the Maoists in Far West. 

Civil emancipation and integrated socialists are also power partners in the far west government led by the Congress. Chief Minister Shah has kept both these parties in the government.

In the Far West, Congress, civil emancipation and integrated socialists are in the majority. There are 18 MPs from Congress, 7 MPs from Civil Immunity and 4 MPs from CPN Integrated Socialists.
