Chitwan bats, Janakpur's Lalit and Kishore out

Chitwan Rhinos will bat first in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket. Team captain Kushal Malla won the toss and decided to bat first against defending champions Janakpur Bolts at the Tribhuvan University Cricket International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Tuesday.

Kathmandu Gorkhas have made two changes from the team that lost by 53 runs to Amar Singh Rautela and Saugat Dhakal. They have been brought in to replace Region Dhakal and Deepak Bohara. Saugat is a player who came from Chitwan's talent hunt.

Although Anil Sah is in the playing 11 in Janakpur, he will not be the captain. Wayne Parnell will captain Janakpur. Anil and Sachin Bhatta will replace Lalit Rajbanshi and Kishor Mahato. Lalit took 2 wickets and Kishor took only 1 wicket in 4 matches in this season's NPL.

Chitwan has won 2 out of 4 matches and lost 2 matches. If they win the remaining two matches, Chitwan's chances of reaching the playoffs will be strong. Chitwan will play the final match against Sudurpaschim Royals on Thursday.

Defending champions Janakpur had lost all their first four matches. Although Janakpur won the title last year, Chitwan defeated Janakpur by 34 runs in the group stage match.
