Pokhara Avengers will field first in Friday's match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket. Pokhara captain Kushal Bhurtel won the toss and invited Sudurpaschim Royals to bat first at the Tribhuvan University Cricket International Stadium.

Pokhara has fielded Bipin Khatri in place of Tritaraj Das and Sumit Barma in place of Matt Taylor. Pokhara's team includes Dinesh Kharel, Adam Rossington, Sumit Barma, Jimmy Neesam, Dan Douthwaite, Bipin Khatri, Kiran Thagunna, Abhishek Tiwari, Akash Chand and Sagar Dhakal.

Sudurpaschim has not changed any players from the team that won the first match. The Sudurpaschim team, captained by Deependra Singh Airee, has Josh Brown, Binod Bhandari, Chris Lynn, Ishan Pandey, Arif Sheikh, Harmit Singh, Naren Saud, Scott Kuggele, Hemant Dhami and Avinash Bohra playing 11.

Sudurpaschim won the match between these two in last year's league by 5 runs.
