Pakistani fast bowler Sohail Tanvir dismissed Stephan Eskinazi, Michael Levitt and Bhim Sarki in his first 3-over spell to keep Gurkhaz under pressure . He dismissed Gurkhaz captain Karan KC and Shahav Alam for 1 run in his fourth over. Tanvir has taken 5 wickets in 4 overs by spending only 21 runs.
Gurkhaz did not have a good start . English opener Eskinazi got out in 2 runs. Another opener Levitt scored 25 runs with 4 fours and 1 six. Rhinos captain Kushal Malla bowled Gerard Erasmus for 4 runs. Bhim Sarki scored only 1 run and got out LBW off Tanveer .
Shankar Rana played 17 balls with 1 four and six and scored 16 runs. Rashid Khan could also make only 4 runs. Sumit Maharjan scored the highest 29 runs from Gurkhaz. He got out in the 18th over after hitting 1 four in 41 balls. Dan Douthwaite hit 2 fours off 18 balls for 19 and Dipesh Kandel remained unbeaten on 1 run. Chitwan's Region Dhakal, Kushal, Amarsingh Routel Luke Benkenstein took 1-1 wickets.
