UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is lagging far behind in Jhapa-5, which is being watched with great interest. Oli has received 1,254 votes out of 7,651 votes counted so far.

Balendra Shah, the candidate nominated by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as the future Prime Minister, is far ahead in this area.

Balen has received 5,254 votes. Samir Tamang of the Shram Sanskriti Party has received 325 votes. In Jhapa-5, Mandhara Chimaria of the Nepali Congress has received 185 votes, Ranjit Tamang of the Nepali Congress has received 129 votes, and Laxmi Prasad Sangraula of the RPP has received 111 votes.
