After the last-minute cancellation of her candidacy, Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) candidate from Dhanusha Constituency No. 1, Kishori Sah, has approached the Supreme Court. Sah filed a writ in the Supreme Court today, but her writ will be filed only after the election. According to Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Koirala, Sah's writ has been registered and the filing has been scheduled for Falgun 25. The House of Representatives elections are being held on Falgun 21.

The candidacy of Sah, a RSWP candidate from Dhanusha Constituency No. 1, who entered politics through a contract, has been blacklisted. The was rejected after a complaint. The Election Commission had rejected Sah's candidacy two days before the election.

According to Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, her candidacy was rejected because she was blacklisted by the Credit Information Center. The personal details of the candidate in the commission reveal that Kishori worked as a shareholder of Kamal Nirman Services.

Similarly, Kishori Lal Sah of Kishori Construction is mentioned on the Credit Information Center website as being blacklisted on 2080 Poush 6 and 2079 Asoj 11.

Dhanusha-1 Election Officer Manoj Baral said that the commission rejected the candidacy based on a complaint received against RSP candidate Sah with evidence of being blacklisted.

A complaint was filed with the office of Constituency No. 1 with evidence of RSP candidate Sah's Kamal Construction being blacklisted. Baral said that the office has recommended the Election Commission to take action on the complaint.

Dhanusha Chief District Officer Prem Prasad Luintel said that even if RSP candidate Sah's candidacy is rejected, the ballot papers will not be changed in Dhanusha-1. "His candidacy has been rejected as he is blacklisted. It is not possible to change the ballot paper as the election time is very short," said Chief District Officer Luintel.
