Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that everyone needs to contribute responsibly to maintain good political governance by conducting a free and fair election. Minister Aryal, who visited Banke district on Sunday to conduct an on-site monitoring of the preparations and security arrangements for the upcoming House of Representatives elections in a free, fair, fearless and credible manner, said this. Home Minister Aryal said that the preparations in Banke district have been satisfactory so far and directed to implement the security plan effectively according to the district's circumstances. He also directed to ensure that the election code of conduct is followed and those who violate the law are brought to justice. A team led by Home Minister Aryal, including Home Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha and the Inspector Generals of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police, conducted an on-site monitoring of the preparations and security arrangements in Banke district.

During the monitoring, the Chief Election Officer and Election Officers of Banke District, Lumbini Predesh Chiefs of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force Nepal, officials of the District Security Committee, monitoring officers, and others were present. 

At the program, Banke Chief District Officer Dil Kumar Tamang made a presentation on the election-related activities in the district so far, the integrated election security plan, security personnel mobilization strategy, ballot box transportation plan, etc.  During that, Home Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha directed all security agencies to be mobilized in a coordinated manner with a team spirit and make the election successful .
