Progressive Democratic Party (PRALOP) candidate Binod Regmi has announced his support for Nepali Congress candidate Binod Chaudhary in West Nawalparasi Constituency No. 1, withdrawing his candidacy.
In a press release on Monday, Regmi announced that he had withdrawn from the election fray and had decided to stand for the Nepali Congress in the general election on Falgun 21.
He urged his workers and supporters to support the Nepali Congress in strengthening democracy and continuing change, stating that he had withdrawn his candidacy.
Congress central member and industrialist Binod Chaudhary, who was elected from the same constituency in 2079 BS, announced that he was withdrawing his candidacy, saying that he was contesting again with an agenda of development and economic transformation.
