He said that the current issue is not just a change in leadership, but also needs to be made more clear in terms of policy.
Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Poudel has said that they have moved forward by correcting the warnings made by the Gen-G movement.
Speaking at the dialogue on 'Policy, Leaders and Leadership' on the last session of the second day of the Kantipur Conclave, he said that he did not say that the Gen-G movement had created chaos. 'There was a rebellion within it with political issues. We were also warned. We should correct ourselves after listening to that,' he said.
The current issue is not only a change in leadership but also a clearer policy, he said.
'Now we should move from a situation where we only keep asking questions and doubting to positivity,' he said, 'We had said that there are many mistakes and they should be corrected. We had also heard the citizens say, 'You should come and correct yourself.'
General Secretary Poudele said that there is no situation where the big old parties will contest the elections together today.
