Politician Ghanashyam Bhusal has said that the problem is that the debate on ideology in Nepali society has not progressed as expected. He noted that even from the perspective of a general sociologist, the discussion on this topic is in a state of stagnation.
Speaking at the fifth session of the Kantipur Conclave, titled ‘The End of Ideology,’ Bhusal said, “Even from the perspective of a general sociologist, the discussion on this issue has not progressed, it is stagnant. This seems to be the root of the problem.”
According to him, from the perspective of political economy, the state of development and national aspirations have become clear after the promulgation of the constitution. However, he said that there is disappointment in society as those aspirations have not yet found a concrete path.
