The Deuba faction had decided to reject the commission's decision at a meeting at the party's central office in Sanepa on Saturday. In line with the same decision, Deuba supporters raised slogans against the commission's decision at Maitighar Mandala on Sunday.
On Sunday itself, Deuba supporters have filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court against the commission's decision. The Supreme Court has filed a writ petition and set the first hearing for Magh 6.
The same day, candidacy registration for the House of Representatives elections is scheduled.
