A proposal to dissolve the old Central Committee and elect a new Central Committee is set to be presented during the closing session of the Congress Special General Convention.
The list of proposals to be submitted for the closed session includes this. ‘Since the term of office of the current Central Working Committee elected from the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress 2079 (Mangsir 24 and 28) has expired, a proposal will be submitted to dissolve the Central Working Committee and to hold elections for a new Central Working Committee until the 15th General Convention of the Congress is concluded,’ the special general convention procedure states.
A proposal to approve the special general convention called on Poush 27 and 28 is also to be submitted in the ongoing closed session.
Similarly, a proposal regarding necessary amendments, revisions to the statute and structural and organizational reforms of the party will also be submitted. It has been proposed to form a 5-member decision verification committee including a coordinator to verify the decisions made by the special general convention.

(a) Current political review;
(b) Political and party policy;
(c) Necessary amendments, revisions to the statute and structural and organizational reforms of the party;
(d) Dissolution of the Central Working Committee, as the term of office of the existing Central Working Committee elected from the Fourteenth General Convention of the Nepali Congress 2078 (November 24 to 28) has expired, and election of a new Central Working Committee until the conclusion of the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress;
(e) Dissolution of the Central Election Committee, Central Disciplinary Committee and Central Accounts Committee, formed on various dates after the Fourteenth General Convention of the Nepali Congress, as per the Statute of the Nepali Congress, 2017 (with amendments);
(f) To form a five (5) member election committee including one (1) coordinator as per Article 35 of the statute to conduct the election of the Central Working Committee from the Special Central General Conference;
(g) To form a five (5) member decision verification committee including the coordinator to verify the decisions made by the Special Central General Conference;
(h) To review, amend and, if necessary, invalidate and cancel the decisions made by the Central Working Committee and the Central Working Assets Committee;
