The meeting to be held to prepare for the general convention starting Saturday will present proposals for amending the statute, political and organizational proposals. According to the leaders, in today's meeting, Chairman KP Sharma Oli will propose necessary amendments to the statute, while Senior Vice President Ishwor Pokharel's side has been of the opinion that the statute passed in Bhadra should not be amended.
Oli, on the other hand, is in favor of amending the statute to manage leaders from the general convention and increasing the number of office bearers and the central committee. Oli is preparing to increase the number of central office bearers from 15 to 19 and the number of central committee from 251 to 301.
