When the people are powerful, wise, and responsible, then the state is forced to use its power appropriately and fulfill its responsibilities. Only when the country becomes strong and successful can every person be successful.
What you should know
The country is still stuck in the same trend that led to the loss of innocent lives. The leaders have not really analyzed the situation and tried to move forward. The people have also learned lessons from the Gen-G movement. As a result, society has not been able to gain a new dimension of consciousness.
The word Gen-G has become an issue in itself. But the reason for the Gen-G movement is disappearing. Shouting loudly on social media does not solve the problem. There is a tendency to put aside what needs to be taken as a stand and straighten out their own problems. At present, parties, party leaders, and stakeholders from various sectors are trying to straighten out their names by taking the name of Gen-G.
Parties, leaders, and governments are not the only problems. There is no doubt that they have a hand in increasing the problem. However, in every sector, the tendency to be themselves and not to trust anyone else is increasing. There is also a tendency to fight for name, power, position, and money, but to say that they are representing the interests of society and the country, a certain class or group. Due to this, they have shown more speeches, banners, and slogans than work. This is happening from political parties, leaders, NGOs, and intellectual groups. However, the country is being supported by those who are paying attention to their work and doing their own work honestly.
There is also a tendency to try to control the next generation. The previous generation does not want to hand over positions and power to the new generation. Instead, it seems that they are trying to maintain their grip. However, they know that if they want to hand over, the new generation is more qualified than them. Due to this, the student organization is deteriorating. There is no freedom. Closeness and flattery are becoming effective.
The illusion of compromise
For some time now, the voice of the youth has been emphasized. It seems that everyone is trying to take the initiative in the name of generational transfer. In some ways, it is also a good message. But the voice of the youth should not be limited by listening to the voices of a limited number of individuals and groups and limiting the broader voice and issue.
This is the time to provide the youth with proper protection, education, opportunities and trust regarding the responsibilities of the country and society. The youth is a time to be independent, but if society and the country try to narrow it down and control it as a lesson in morality, it can lead to further misguidance. The education system is one thing, economic security and responsibility is another, family and social aspirations are another, and personal desires are still another, so the young generation is under pressure. The youth are not just leaving the country. Why would anyone stay where they are not valued?
After 23 and 24 Bhadra, the country has returned to normal. But no one should make the mistake of thinking that the movement is over. Now, people are being pulled towards themselves. Those who pull more are more likely to be seen that way. But many do not even understand the true struggle of Nepali society. Those who understand the struggle have fewer opportunities to come forward in this way, and fewer options.
When the youth raise their voices for change, every stakeholder will be forced to respond. At that time, there will be another struggle. But it will not be limited to Kathmandu alone. Now, change cannot be brought about in a way that says the one whose voice is loudest is right and the one who listens to them. When the youth who struggle are forced to come forward themselves, then there will be a real identity of change. There will be truly determined and successful leaders who will come forward.
The way forward
The country is governed by rules and laws. It is everyone's responsibility to follow the rule of law. But laws and laws are formed according to society, and they are governed according to society. But the rule of law must be developed, matured, properly nurtured, managed and protected. It is the people who do this.
Therefore, it is essential for the people to make themselves responsible. And, while taking responsibility in this way, it is necessary to be in the best interests of the country and society, not in their own best interests. It is important for everyone to know that the state power and power of the country are built by the people. Therefore, the people must continue to make them responsible.
When the people are powerful, prudent and responsible, then the state power is forced to use its power appropriately and fulfill its responsibilities. Only when the country becomes strong and successful can every person be successful.
