The need for unity among the Gen-G group

The unity that we, the Gen-G, showed on the streets on 23 and 24 Bhadra, now seems to be extremely important to show politically.

The country is at a very sensitive stage of change. The Gen-G movement, which started due to corruption, irregularities in development work, misgovernance, and irresponsible statements by those in key positions of the nation, resulted in the loss of lives of the country's elite. An interim government has been formed after the movement. However, the voices of the common people and the new generation are still not being heard.

Currently, Gen-G groups are being formed in different parts of the country under different names. Some of the demands of these groups differ. However, there is a similarity in their demands such as maintaining good governance in the country and investigating the incidents of 23 and 24 Bhadra. It seems that in order to strengthen the voice of the people and the youth, it is necessary to move forward by keeping the common demands and agendas of all Gen-G groups in one place.

If the youth continue to be scattered, the chances of their voices being heard are low. However, we have seen in the past that when the voices of all the youth are united, the power itself is overthrown. Currently, the Gen-G age group has a large share in Nepal. However, their voices rarely reach the national-level policy makers. This has happened because there is no unity in the Gen-G group. Just as it is said that adding drops makes an ocean, there is a need to create a common voice of the youth by incorporating the demands of all the Gen-G groups.

The collective efforts of the youth can create a force that can influence the policymaking of the nation. For that, unity among the Gen-G groups seems very necessary. If all Gen-G groups unite and take forward issues that are urgent for the country, no power can ignore them. In the current situation, the common issues of all Gen-G groups can be as follows -

1) Directly elected Prime Minister

2) Voting rights for Nepali expatriates

3) Investigation of the repression in the 23 Bhadra movement and punishment accordingly

4) Investigation of the assets of former leaders

Other issues can be added than those mentioned in the agreement between the Gen-G groups.

When all Gen-G groups unite, our voices can be heard at the national and international levels. After uniting, the means of expressing and showing our voices to the world will be added. The political story of the country can be told to the outside world. There is an opportunity to gather advice and suggestions internationally.

Unity alone may not be easy. Everyone's demands and voices may be different. There may also be a possibility of disputes over leadership. We have full confidence that the Gen-G group, which was formed to support the development of the country, has no illusions about its position and is full of leadership potential.

The unity of the Gen-G group will inspire youth across the country to take the lead in the social sector. The Gen-G unity will be like a guardian for the youth and will provide security. No youth will remain silent about the unconstitutional and injustice happening in society and will not be afraid to raise their voices remembering their guardians. The unity that we, the Gen-G, showed on the streets on 23 and 24 Bhadra, now seems to be very important to show in a political way.

Nepal can now enter a new era with the inspiration of the Gen-G, if we can unite our voices. The Gen-G has the professional capacity, digital skills, creativity and the courage to change the foundation. The responsibility of making the government and society responsible and the nation future-oriented is on our shoulders, and for this work, it seems that all the Gen-G groups must join hands.

If the Gen-G group is not united, the old corrupt people may come to power again. In such a situation, our voices will be suppressed and the country that is slowly rising will be defeated again. So it is time to think, let's think. Let all the Gen-G group unite and work together for the development of the country.

We, the backbone of this country,

It is our responsibility to build and save the country

The more we unite

the better it is for our Nepal.
