The Gen-J uprising of August 23 and 24 was not just an explosion of discontent, it was an unprecedented moment of our generation's challenge to the old system. Living in a society full of corruption, nepotism, lack of opportunity and discrimination was not acceptable to us. The dreams of the martyrs we saw, the sacrifices of the wounded and the suffering of the common Nepali youth gave energy to this rebellion.
We, the Gen-G generation, no longer want to be limited to rebellion. Now our priority is building a new Nepal. A prosperous, transparent and independent Nepal is our vision. We want zero corruption, direct executive leadership, job creation, opportunities for youth, social justice, technology-friendly development and self-reliance in production.
The change we want will not be limited to slogans. It is a historical need to be put into practice. This generation is no longer on the side of giving up. We are determined to build a modern, just and capable Nepal.
The path to independent economy
I believe, our country is prosperous. Whether naturally or otherwise. Now we have to make the country independent. Not only self-reliance, building a prosperous and capable nation is the historical responsibility of our generation. That responsibility has now fallen on the shoulders of the younger generation. We have water, land, herbs, countless natural resources and cultural heritage. We should be able to use all these precious assets in the right way.
The world is valuing our mountains, our water resources, our biological resources. But the sad part is that we depend on the production of others without appreciating it ourselves. This irony needs to end now.
That's why I say, we should increase production, use modern technology to produce quality products and develop the ability to export them to the world market. Only in this way can we make the country prosperous. It should be our national priority to gradually reduce the tendency to depend on imports.
Reducing imports means not using foreign goods. It is also important to prioritize your original products. When we start consuming Nepali products. Then the demand starts to increase. The level of production is raised and finally the way to export opens up.
We should make our product a brand, establish the Nepali name in the world market. If Nepali tea, coffee, herbs, garments or agricultural produce can be delivered to the international market with quality and identity, Nepal can become a nation that is not only self-sufficient, but also contributes to the world.
I feel, there is no lack of productivity in our country, the problem is in management and approach. We have to get used to being proud of our own products rather than the expensive goods imported from abroad. Reducing imports is not easy, but not impossible either.
Policy reform is necessary for that. We can start the journey of economic prosperity only by assigning responsibility to expert teams, introducing modern technology and bringing transparency in procedures. Economic policy should be changed, the basis of a sustainable and just economy should be prepared.
Social Cohesion and Inclusion
Let me be clear, proportional inclusion is not dismissed. Caste, religion, language, culture are our ornaments. It is our responsibility to protect them. Nepal is a common flower garden of different castes and religions. All the flowers here spread the fragrance of the same garden. Therefore, the society should be moved forward. Not by dividing.
But I also say this, ability and talent are bigger than caste and religion. Those who have skills, who can move the society forward, should be given opportunities. No talent should miss an opportunity because of any caste or religion. Inequality and discrimination are the scourge of our society.
Untouchability, caste discrimination, class injustice, all these sometimes hurt. All these inequalities must be permanently remedied. So that the wound doesn't get worse again. Unless we can cooperate with each other, we cannot move firmly towards nation building. In my opinion, all Nepalis should be united in one thread. Our strength is cooperation and unity, not fighting.
Production and use of resources
Our country is landlocked but full of immense potential. By modernizing agriculture and developing tourism, we can make a big economic leap. We have most of the highest mountains in the world. We should use those mountains as a source of income. The mountains should be saved together.
Our mountains are melting today due to global warming. It is our responsibility to protect those heritages. If the mountains, hills and plains can be tied together with a single thread, no one can stop the economic development of Nepal. Water resources are our wealth. It can be used for power generation, irrigation and job creation. If the country becomes self-sufficient in food, the situation of the country will automatically improve.
is not limited to agriculture or water resources, IT sector also looks bright in our future. Using information technology, our youth is able to compete globally. It just needs an opportunity. By improving awareness and skills, we will surely succeed. We become before.
The exodus of youth and my vision
The biggest pain in my heart is the exodus of youth. Our power, our future, our dreams are being sweated abroad. The question arises why? The answer is clear, there is no employment environment here, the opportunity is captured by nepotism and nepotism.
I say, we should not stop young people who want to go abroad, but we should create an environment where they can come back. Just as birds that fly in the morning return to their nests in the evening, we should create an environment where our youth can return. The solution is job creation, investment friendly environment.
If skilled and capable youth can be employed in this soil, they will not have to sweat abroad. Not by desire, but by compulsion, our youth is migrating abroad. The only dream or possibility I see is that this country can become a country. But for that, we need leadership that does not disappoint the youth, but rather inspires hope. We need a leader who gives encouragement.
I am a political creature. It was the Jen-G Rebellion that gave me 'exposure'. I want to be clear, the Gen-G movement will now provide opportunities for many young people like me. This is a big deal for the youth group. The country was always run by the old leaders, now the country should go into the hands of the youth.
We youth have a vision, a mission. Jos, Zangar is the same. An interim government was formed after the August 23-24 uprising. The government is unconstitutional. Let's not go there now. But why did Jen-ji make so many sacrifices? It must be accounted for. Our main issue is direct election of executive and zero corruption policy. This is not my personal opinion, but a common demand of gen-jis across the country. Resolution is.
Today, the change that people wanted has become possible. A 243-year-old structure like a monarchy was built by the people themselves. Why can't the corrupt leaders be changed? It is definitely possible. The results have already been seen.
Leaving aside the old constitution, direct election of the executive prime minister should be done through the interim constitution. There should be an immediate dialogue between the President, the expert team and the protestors on this matter. The leadership that the people want, the executive elected by the people is the only solution.
I can never forget the sacrifices made by the martyrs and the wounded. None of us will forget. If the game happens in their dreams, there may be rebellion again. Therefore, at this time, it is necessary for us to proceed in the direction of making direct executive elections possible without delay.
Resolution of modern construction
I believe, now our priority is to build a modern and new Nepal. Investments should be made with new thinking in areas like education, health, energy, technology. We should not stay stuck in the old pattern, the new generation should create a new Nepal.
We will be successful only if we can put it into practice immediately and not limit it to words like the old leaders. Nor will our destiny be like that of the old leaders. Whom history will condemn.
When all of us Nepalis are united in one thread, and move forward by putting aside differences, corruption and despair, only then will Nepal become truly prosperous and self-sufficient.
Finally, today I make a firm promise to this land, this people and the future that I have resolved to dedicate my life to these five principles: self-reliant economy, social unity, youth opportunities, zero corruption and direct executive leadership. I will not hesitate to sacrifice my life to build this country.
We have to rise up ourselves to make this country. In my opinion, when we move forward by eliminating differences, embracing collaboration, increasing productivity and opening doors to new leadership, that day Nepal will stand out among the world. And I am looking forward to that day. I want to fight for that day, I want to live for that day.
