Representatives participating in the closed session under the first national general convention of the Nepali Congress will be registered by giving temporary identity cards (coupons) on Monday.
General Secretary Karbindra Burlakoti said that the temporary identity cards have been arranged after there was a delay in printing the personal digital identity cards of the general convention representatives. According to him, it has been decided to use temporary identity cards for the registration of representatives after consulting with the president, office bearers, the Election Commission and the Representative Management Subcommittee. Accordingly, the registration of representatives has started from 10 am.
He said that the closed session will begin at 1:45 pm at the same venue as per the predetermined program.
The closed session could not begin on Monday due to a dispute over the list of general convention representatives.
